Paul O. Arnold, MD is a highly experienced, board-certified Gastroenterologist and Senior Partner at Gastroenterology Associates, where he has practiced since 2009.

Dr. Arnold, a dedicated Virginia native, completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Hampden-Sydney College before earning his medical degree, completing his Residency in Internal Medicine, and finishing his Fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition—all at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond. His clinical expertise includes diagnostic gastrointestinal oncology, Barrett’s esophagus, advanced liver disease, and comprehensive colorectal cancer screening.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology and maintains an active Virginia medical license with hospital affiliations at UVA Prince William Medical Center and UVA Haymarket Medical Center.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Arnold enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their two sons. The family shares a passion for faith, soccer and skiing.
