Kibbum Kang, ANP-BC received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2005 in South Korea. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stone Brook University in New York in June 2009. Her Master of Science in Nursing was received from The Sage College in Troy, NY in December 2012. Kibbum worked in New York as a Nurse Practitioner for three years before relocating to Virginia. She joined our Practice 2018 and then took a sabbatical for 18 months in 2021. She rejoined our Practice in March 2023. Her clinical interests are patient education, women’s issues in gastroenterology and geriatric GI. She evaluates and treat patients with a broad spectrum of GI diseases/conditions alongside the GAPC physicians. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends and her pet.
